Spoilers! Was Klaus Working With...

The snarkfest that is any exchange between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) continues. In a new sneak peek video, courtesy of TV Guide, the elder Salvatore has caught up with the Original, and he has a few bones to pick.
“So, I just came up with a list,” says Damon. “It’s called things you suck at.” Item number one? Finding Katherine (Nina Dobrev). He has a point. It did take the hybrid a number of centuries to finally come across that particular doppelganger again.
But number two is a big surprise. Evidently, Klaus was having secret phone conversations “with that little backstabber” Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). Hold on. We thought Hayley was working with Shane (David Alpay). She really is a double-crosser!
Damon wants answers about where to find the werewolf; she might know something about Katherine’s whereabouts. At first, Klaus is reluctant to enter into an agreement. Then Damon breaks the news about the cure: Kat has it, and she probably wants to use it on the OV.
This definitely helps explain why we’ll be seeing Hayley in The Originals. Here we thought she and Klaus hated each other. That might still be true, but they definitely also have some sort of working relationship...
